Lonely

Lonely

By: January

I wait here in my forest

Green, green leaves remind me of him

Day after day I listen for his footsteps

Will I see him again?

I wait longing at the ranch

Epona cries for him each night

Late at night I look for his fairylight

Will I see him again?

I wait with the water around me

He promised; why isn't he here?

Every dawn I watch for his blue eyes

Will I see him again?

I wait wandering from land to land

It's just a matter of time

Every town I listen for news of him

When will I see him again?
